The immune system consists of immune organs and immune cells. The immune system is generally considered to be the body’s defense system, which plays a role in maintaining tissue homeostasis and system integrity. The immune system can be involved in basic physiological processes such as development, reproduction, and wound healing, and it is also closely related to other systems in the body. Cells such as the skin, tonsils, spleen, thymus, bone marrow, and lymphocytes form a key part of the immune system.
