Nervous System Primary Cells

The nervous system is mainly composed of two types of cells: primary neurons and glial cells (also called neuroglia or glia), and divided into the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (autonomic and somatic nervous systems). The nervous system controls and regulates the activities of organs and systems through the feedback of neurons so that the body can respond to the stimulation of environmental changes. AcceGen isolates and offers a range of human neurons, neural cells, brain cells, cerebellar cells, and dendritic cells for primary neuron culture, also human astrocytes, microglial cells, oligodendrocytes, and Schwann cells for primary glia culture.

As a part of the sensory nervous system, human retinal cells, corneal cells, keratocytes, lens epithelial cells, trabecular meshwork cells, and other ocular cells are also isolated from eyes and provided for ocular system research.

AcceGen offers 59 different types of human primary cells associated with the nervous system isolated from different regions in the system.
