AcceGen operates an extensive human tissue network and access a diverse range of donors. Stem cells were harvested from screened donors. Following reprogramming, these stem cells were subsequently differentiated into various cells, and play a role in treating graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), multiple sclerosis (MS), Crohn’s disease (CD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myocardial infarction (MI), and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), etc.
Workflow
STEP1 Service Consultation
Two-way communication to analyze the project and determine the plan, including the end-point cell type or organoids, the production scale, and desired characterization assays. We will send you a competitive quote.
STEP2 Starting Cells Preparation
The starting cells should be guaranteed negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma.
The cell viability should be greater than 80%.
If the starting cell quantity is insufficient, the cells need to be expanded.
If the starting cells are provided by the customer, these cells need to adapt to AcceGen’s culture system to keep homogeneous state before differentiation.
STEP3 Stem Cell Differentiation
Small molecules are used to generate footprint-free end-point cells or organoids.
We can also use our stem cell differentiation expertise to develop a custom differentiation strategy for generating your desired cell or tissue type.
STEP4 Characterization
Antibody staining images and/or flow cytometry data for the cell type-specific markers.
Perform cell viability testing to ensure optimal post-thaw viability.
Optional pathogen testing is available.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do the stem cell differentiation services cost?
The price for the differentiation services vary based on multiple factors and requirements such as starting stem cells expansion requirement, number of cells required, QC criteria etc. Contact us to share your requirements and start discussion.
What information should I provide to get a quote?
Including but not limited to relevant information of starting cells, end-point cells or organoids, desired quantity of end-point products, specific markers of interest.
How do I ship my starting stem cells?
Dry ice shipment is suggested in the US and liquid nitrogen dry shipper is suggested to ship cryopreserved cells internationally.
What are the deliverables?
- Cryovials of differentiated cells or live culture (in the US) for cells not suitable for cryopreservation.
- Instructions and culture medium for optimal cell maintenance.
- Reports and data.
