The reproductive system is a general term for the organs used by human beings to reproduce their offspring. It is composed of gonads, reproductive ducts, and accessory organs. The function of the reproductive system is to generate germ cells, reproduce offspring, secrete sexual hormones and maintain sexual characteristics. The male reproductive system includes testis, epididymis, vas deferens, ejaculatory duct, urethra, seminal vesicle gland, and prostate gland. The female reproductive system includes ovary, fallopian tube, uterus, and vagina.
