AceSeq™ Animal Tissue/Cell Mitochondrial DNA Kit is designed for extracting mtDNA from animal tissue or cell samples. It is suitable for the extraction and preparation of animal soft tissue (liver or brain tissue), hard tissue (muscle) and mitochondrial DNA in cultured cells. The key to mitochondrial DNA extraction is to remove as much nuclear DNA as possible. This kit uses differential centrifugation to obtain relatively pure mitochondria, and then uses multiple steps such as DNase digestion and lysis buffer system to remove nuclear DNA, and finally obtains pure mitochondrial DNA. It can be used for experiments that require high purity, such as PCR.
