Human Small Airway Epithelial Cells (hSAECs) are essential for studying small airway remodeling, mucociliary clearance, and inflammatory responses in diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and bronchiolitis obliterans. These human airway epithelial cells support toxicology studies and viral infection modeling such as RSV and influenza, and inhalation drug delivery research. Under ALI conditions, they differentiate into goblet, ciliated, and basal-like cells, enabling physiologically relevant airway models.
