Human Dental Follicle Stem Cell is a multipotent stem cell resource for dental tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and stem cell research.
HighQC™ Human Dental Follicle Stem Cells (DFSCs) are adult mesenchymal stem cells isolated from the dental follicle tissue of healthy human donors. These cells exhibit robust proliferative capacity and can be expanded over multiple passages under adherent culture conditions. Morphologically, DFSCs display a fibroblast-like spindle shape with elongated cytoplasm, grow as a monolayer in culture, and maintain clonal growth characteristics. These cells express mesenchymal stem cell–associated markers including CD73, CD90, and CD105. Functionally, DFSCs possess self-renewal capacity and multipotent differentiation potential, capable of differentiating into osteogenic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic lineages under appropriate induction conditions. Their neural crest origin and intrinsic mesenchymal stem cell properties enable not only classical tri-lineage differentiation but also potential for differentiation into neural-like and periodontal tissue lineages. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Dental Follicle Stem Cells (DFSCs), derived from the tooth follicle, provide a versatile in vitro model for studying mesenchymal stem cell biology, craniofacial development, and tissue differentiation mechanisms. These cells are widely used to investigate self-renewal, lineage specification, and molecular pathways underlying osteogenic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic differentiation. DFSCs also support studies on neural crest–derived cell differentiation and periodontal tissue development, making them a valuable platform for functional genomics, gene regulation analysis, and mechanistic studies in stem cell and regenerative biology research.
