The recommended basal media are either William’s E Medium or DMEM/F12. medium kit includes:

Fa2N-4 may be used for certain hepatocyte-related studies, but there is currently no reliable literature evidence confirming functional estrogen receptor activity in this cell line. Therefore, it may not be the best choice when estrogen receptor responsiveness is a key experimental requirement.
