AML12 Luciferase Reporter Cell Line are widely used in studies of hepatic metabolism, fatty liver disease, drug toxicity, and aging.
To uphold our commitment to maximal genetic stability, assay reproducibility, and superior signal-to-noise performance in long-term downstream hepatic assays, AcceGen has officially transitioned the Luciferase Reporter platform for Catalog # ABC-RC099H from an LX2 human hepatic stellate cell host background to highly differentiated AML12 (Alpha Mouse Liver 12) hepatocytes. Unlike immortalized human stellate models, which are susceptible to phenotypic drift and variable growth kinetics with extended passaging, AML12 parenchymal cells deliver unparalleled batch-to-batch consistency while preserving intact normal hepatocyte metabolic signaling pathways.
The AML12 Luciferase cell line is transformed from AML12 cell, expressing the firefly luciferase gene. The cell constitutively express Luciferase.
