Bovine Fetal Lung Cells are primary mixed lung cell populations containing multiple cell types. During extended culture and serial passaging, certain cell populations may become preferentially enriched, which can alter the original cellular composition and characteristics of the culture. Therefore, long-term culture and continuous passaging are not recommended when maintaining the native heterogeneity of the cell population is required.
