CD34+ cells are targeted using uniform, superparamagnetic polymer beads coated with a primary monoclonal antibody specific for the CD34 membrane antigen predominantly expressed on human hematopoietic progenitor cells and endothelial progenitor cells. The isolated cells are poured off into a new tube, and are cryogenically preserved.
