AcceGen offers human iPS cell lines from patients with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D)
HighQC™ Human iPSCs (iPSC From Fibroblast/ Diabetes Type II/ Episomal) are a type of disease-specific induced pluripotent stem cell line derived from dermal fibroblasts of a Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2D) donor. Reprogramming was achieved via episomal delivery. These cells exhibit high expression of pluripotency markers such as SOX2, TRA-1-60, OCT4, and SSEA-4, and display typical colony morphology with high nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratios. They retain the capacity to differentiate into cells of all three germ layers, including insulin-producing pancreatic β-cells. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human iPSCs (iPSC From Fibroblast/ Diabetes Type II/ Episomal) are T2D patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells that serve as a valuable in vitro model for studying the pathogenesis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), including insulin resistance and β-cell dysfunction, and supporting drug discovery research. They can be efficiently differentiated into insulin-producing cells (IPCs) for disease modeling and drug screening, enabling the identification of novel research targets and evaluation of candidate compounds.
