Description

HighQC™ Human IPSC-Derived Neural Stem Cells-MAPT R406W HET are a human iPSC-derived neural stem cell line in which a heterozygous R406W mutation (CGG>TGG) has been introduced into the MAPT gene using CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing. One allele carries the mutation, while the other remains wild-type. These neural stem cells express typical markers of cortical neural stem and progenitor cells, such as PAX6, FOXG1, and Nestin. This NSC model can be used to investigate early cellular events in tau-mediated toxicity and serve as a platform for personalized drug testing and transcriptomic analysis. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
