Human Nasal Epithelial Stem Cells; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Nasal Epithelial Stem Cells are isolated from the nasal epithelium of healthy human donors and expanded under defined, serum-free culture conditions that maintain their basal progenitor identity. These cells exhibit a cobblestone morphology typical of epithelial stem cells and express key markers including Nestin, CD117, and CK19. They are capable of self-renewal and can differentiate into ciliated, goblet, and basal epithelial cell types, making them highly suitable for upper airway epithelial modeling. These stem cells retain epithelial polarity and mucociliary differentiation capacity in air-liquid interface (ALI) cultures, closely mimicking in vivo nasal physiology. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Nasal Epithelial Stem Cells are ideal models for studying respiratory epithelium biology, host-pathogen interactions, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, and mucosal barrier function. These cells are suitable for differentiation into pseudostratified mucociliary epithelium in ALI (Air–Liquid Interface) systems and are frequently used in drug absorption, viral infection, and toxicology assays. Their properties also support translational research in nasal vaccine delivery and personalized medicine.
