Description

HighQC™ iPSC from Fibroblast-TRISOMY 21 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line derived from a donor with Down syndrome (trisomy 21). These cells were reprogrammed from fibroblasts using a Sendai virus vector and belong to the chromosomal abnormalities and genetic diseases collection section. The iPSC from Fibroblast-TRISOMY 21 was cryopreserved and underwent tests for surface antigen expression, alkaline phosphatase activity, and embryoid body (EB) formation, among others, to confirm its pluripotency. These cells express stem cells markers, including SSEA-4 and TRA-1-60. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
