HLA-typed Characterized Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are ideal for immunoassays, antigen-specific T cell responses, and cytokine profiling studies.
HLA-Typed Characterized Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are a highly defined immune cell population isolated from whole blood using density gradient centrifugation. These cells undergo comprehensive HLA genotyping, covering both Class I (HLA-A, -B, -C) and Class II (HLA-DR, -DQ, -DP) loci, ensuring precise HLA matching for immunology studies. Additionally, they are extensively characterized through immune cell profiling, including T cell, B cell, and NK cell subset ratios, as well as key activation markers (e.g., CD69, CD25, HLA-DR) to confirm immune status. These HLA-typed PBMCs are particularly valuable for research requiring HLA-restricted immune responses, such as vaccine development, infectious disease studies (e.g., viral or bacterial immunity), autoimmune disease research, and cancer immunotherapy. The cells maintain high functionality in critical assays, including antigen presentation, cytokine secretion (IFN-γ, IL-2, TNF-α), and proliferation (CFSE or thymidine incorporation assays), ensuring reliable and reproducible results. These HLA-typed PBMCs further support advanced HLA typing techniques, enable rigorous HLA compatibility studies, facilitate HLA and transplant research, allow precise HLA PBMC isolation, and provide insights into HLA gene expression PBMC for functional immunogenetic analyses.

HLA-typed Characterized Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells can be used to analyze the immune function of T cells, B cells and NK cells, study cell-mediated immune responses, cytokine secretion and antigen presentation mechanisms. These cells can also be used to evaluate the immune response after viral infection (such as HIV, HCV) or test the immunogenicity of vaccines.
