Bone Marrow is obtained from adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients.
Human Acute Myeloid Leukemia Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells are primary mononuclear cells isolated from bone marrow of adult patients newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This heterogeneous cell population includes leukemic blasts together with lymphocytes and monocytes, reflecting the native leukemic bone-marrow microenvironment. These cells retain key functional characteristics of AML, making them suitable for studies of leukemia biology, tumor–immune interactions, and drug response. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thaw cycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
