Description

Human Cord Blood CD19+ B Cells (hUCB CD19+ B lymphocytes) are isolated from the umbilical cord blood of healthy human donors after full-term deliveries. The source tissue is cord blood, and the isolated cell type is B lymphocytes, identified by their expression of the pan-B cell marker CD19. These cells represent a naïve, immature B cell population that has not undergone antigen exposure or somatic hypermutation. They are obtained via immunomagnetic separation, ensuring high purity and viability. Morphologically, they are small, round, and non-adherent in suspension culture. Cytogenetic analysis typically shows normal diploid karyotypes. High expression of CD19 and other early B cell markers (e.g., CD10, CD34) is confirmed via flow cytometry. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • Human Cord Blood CD19+ B Cells are an excellent model for studying early human B cell development, immunoglobulin gene rearrangement, immune tolerance, and lymphopoiesis. They are also valuable for research on neonatal immunity, vaccine response modeling, and B cell-targeted therapies in immunological and hematologic contexts. Additionally, their accessibility and naive phenotype make them particularly useful for developing regenerative medicine strategies and engineering CAR-T cells with enhanced specificity.
