Description

Human FLT3 (K663Q) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. FLT3 (K663Q) BAF3 mutant cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human FLT3 gene harboring the K663Q point mutation into Ba/F3 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors.
Target
FLT3 is a class III receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in early hematopoiesis. The K663Q mutation occurs in the juxtamembrane region and is reported to promote constitutive dimerization and kinase activation. Activating mutations in FLT3 are strongly associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and confer poor prognosis.
