Description

Human Lymphatic Fibroblasts (HLF) are primary mesenchymal cells isolated from healthy human lymphatic vessels or lymph nodes that retain their physiological characteristics in vitro. Under phase-contrast microscopy, they exhibit the characteristic spindle-shaped morphology of fibroblasts and adhere to form a uniform, contact-inhibited monolayer. These cells express fibroblast marker vimentin. As non-transformed primary cells, they have limited replicative capacity. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • Human Lymphatic Fibroblasts serve as a biologically relevant model for investigating lymphoid tissue microenvironment dynamics. These specialized fibroblasts support studies in lymphoid tissue engineering, immune cell migration, matrix remodeling, and inflammation. Functionally, they generate extracellular matrix, produce chemokines (CCL19, CCL21, CXCL13), and form conduit-like structures supporting lymphocyte trafficking and adaptive immune responses. They have been utilized in organotypic models to dissect stromal–immune cell interactions and to test interventions in lymph node microenvironments.
