Description

Human MPL (W515K) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine pro-B Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. MPL (W515K) BAF3 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human MPL (W515K) mutant gene into BAF3 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The MPL gene encodes the thrombopoietin receptor, which plays a crucial role in hematopoiesis. The W515K mutation activates JAK-STAT signaling in the absence of ligand, contributing to uncontrolled cell proliferation in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
