CD14 is mainly expressed in monocytes, so monocytes are often referred to as CD14 + monocytes
Human Peripheral Blood CD14+ Monocytes, Single Donor are isolated from peripheral blood. These cells are collected from a single healthy donor and cryopreserved after isolation. They express surface markers such as CD14, HLA-DR, and CCR2. CD14+ monocytes are a critical component of the innate immune system, serving as precursors to macrophages and dendritic cells. They play a central role in immune surveillance, phagocytosis, and cytokine production. These cells are widely used in immunology research, inflammation studies, infectious disease modeling, and the development of cell-based therapies. Human CD14+ Monocytes provide a robust in vitro model for studying monocyte function, differentiation, and immune responses. To maintain cell viability and functionality, repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided during handling and culture. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

Human CD14+ Monocytes from peripheral blood are widely used in studies involving immune regulation, inflammation, and pathogen response. These cells are essential for modeling monocyte-to-macrophage differentiation and dendritic cell induction. They are also employed to investigate cytokine production, phagocytosis, and innate immunity, which are crucial for developing immunotherapies and anti-inflammatory agents.
