The PIK3CA (H1047R) SK-BR-3 cell line is a powerful tool for studying the PI3K signaling pathway and oncogenic mechanisms of tumor drug resistance.
Human PIK3CA (H1047R) SK-BR-3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected human SK-BR-3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. PIK3CA (H1047R) SK-BR-3 mutant cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human PIK3CA gene harboring the H1047R hotspot mutation into SK-BR-3 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors.
Target
PIK3CA encodes the p110α catalytic subunit of class I phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K), involved in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. The H1047R mutation is a common oncogenic alteration that enhances PI3K kinase activity and promotes tumorigenesis. It is frequently observed in breast, colon, and endometrial cancers. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression and point-mutant cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
