The human PIK3CA (P539R) BAF3 Cell Line is used to study oncogenic PIK3CA mutations influencing PI3K/AKT pathway and drug resistance in tumors.
Human PIK3CA (P539R) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from murine pro-B Ba/F3 parental cells based on customers’ requirement. PIK3CA (P539R) BAF3 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human PIK3CA gene with the P539R activating mutation. Lentiviral transduction is used for delivery, and cultures are maintained below passage 20. Validation is conducted by qRT-PCR.
Target
PIK3CA encodes the p110α catalytic subunit of PI3K, a central node in growth and survival pathways. The P539R mutation lies in the helical domain and enhances lipid kinase activity, contributing to oncogenesis in breast, colorectal, and endometrial cancers. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
