The human PIK3CA (E542K) NCI-H1975 Cell Line enables modeling of PI3K pathway activation and supports drug screening in PIK3CA-mutant lung cancer.
Human PIK3CA_E542K NCI-H1975 Cell Line is a human lung adenocarcinoma model derived from NCI-H1975 cells, engineered to stably express the oncogenic PIK3CA E542K mutation. Lentiviral vector integration ensures sustained expression, validated by qRT-PCR. Cells are expanded under low-passage culture (<P20). Target PIK3CA encodes the p110α catalytic subunit of PI3K. The E542K hotspot mutation in the helical domain constitutively activates PI3K/AKT signaling, promoting tumor growth and therapeutic resistance. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers' research needs.
