Human Pre Screened Dermal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HDMEC), Adult are primary endothelial cells isolated from dermal capillaries of adult human skin. These cells exhibit a characteristic cobblestone morphology, typical of quiescent microvascular endothelium. They are cryopreserved at an early passage to ensure physiological integrity. They express key endothelial markers such as von Willebrand Factor (vWF), CD31 (PECAM-1), and VEGFR 2 (KDR/FLK1). These cells are functionally validated, demonstrating VEGF-A responsiveness through activation of downstream signaling cascades, consistent with pre screened endothelial models used in angiogenesis research. These pre-screened adult HDMEC have a limited proliferative capacity and are not intended for long-term passaging. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
