ZRSR2 Knockout Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from different host cell lines based on customers’ requirement. Among various options, HEK293, a human embryonic kidney cell line, is one of the most commonly selected parental cell line. ZRSR2 knockout line is usually generated via CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing. The edited cells are maintained at low passage numbers (<P20). Knockout clone is validated either at gene level or protein level by PCR, Sanger Sequencing or Western Blot. Target The ZRSR2 gene encodes a zinc finger protein involved in the splicing of U12-type introns, critical for gene expression regulation. Mutations or loss of ZRSR2 are frequently found in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and other hematologic malignancies, leading to defective splicing and impaired hematopoiesis.
