Description

Vestibular schwannoma is a benign tumor originating from vestibular schwann cells. It grows in the cerebellopontine angle region, and as the tumor gradually enlarges, it compresses surrounding cranial nerves and brain tissue, leading to clinical symptoms such as hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, facial paralysis, and even posing a threat to the patient’s life.
