IRR-MRC-5 cell line is a radioresistant fibroblast model used for radiation biology, DNA repair mechanisms, and stress response pathway research.
These irradiated cells are provided to be used as feeder cells to support the growth of other cells. They have been irradiated with 6, 000 rads and will not replicate. It is recommended that the feeder cells be plated 24 hours before use.
