Description

Firefly luciferase is a protein with a molecular weight of approximately 61 kDa. In the presence of ATP, magnesium ions, and oxygen, it catalyzes the oxidation of luciferin to oxyluciferin. During the oxidation process, luciferin emits bioluminescence at a wavelength of approximately 560 nm, which can be measured using a chemiluminescence analyzer.
The Luciferase Reporter Gene Assay Kit is a flash-type firefly luciferase reporter gene assay with high sensitivity, enabling highly sensitive detection of luciferase expression in mammalian cells.
