Porcine PB Mononuclear Cells

Porcine Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PPBMC) are primary immune cells isolated from fresh whole blood of healthy pigs. These cells originate from normal peripheral blood and are purified by density gradient centrifugation, followed by removal of red blood cells and platelets. PBMC include lymphocytes and monocytes, which exhibit round morphology and grow in suspension under appropriate culture conditions. The cells are cryopreserved at passage 0 to maintain functional integrity. They play central roles in antigen presentation, cytokine secretion, and immune surveillance. PBMC express immune cell–specific markers such as CD3, CD14, and MHC II. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
