Recombinant Mouse GM-CSF stimulates myeloid cell differentiation, Th1 immune responses, and modulates angiogenesis, inflammation, and autoimmunity.
Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor. GM-CSF stimulates the differentiation of hematopoietic progenitors into monocytes and neutrophils. GM-CSF has also been shown to induce the differentiation of myeloid dendritic cells (DCs), promoting T-helper type 1 (cellular) immune responses in cognate T cells. As part of the immune/inflammatory cascade, GM-CSF promotes Th1-biased immune responses, angiogenesis, allergic inflammation, and the development of autoimmunity, making it a potential therapeutic target.
