RPMI-8226/GFP-Luciferase Stable Cell Line enables dual-mode tracking via GFP fluorescence and bioluminescence for sensitive multiple myeloma studies.
RPMI-8226/GFP-Luciferase Stable Cell Line is a genetically engineered dual-reporter human multiple myeloma model created through stable co-expression of green fluorescent protein (GFP) and luciferase in RPMI-8226 cells. This engineered cell line maintains characteristic plasma cell morphology and retains native multiple myeloma markers (CD38, CD138) while providing both fluorescent and bioluminescent tracking capabilities. The GFP reporter enables real-time visualization of tumor cell localization and distribution through fluorescence imaging, while the luciferase component allows highly sensitive, quantitative measurement of tumor burden via bioluminescence detection. This dual-modality system is particularly valuable for preclinical studies requiring both spatial resolution (GFP) and quantitative sensitivity (luciferase), including drug efficacy testing, metastasis research, and tumor microenvironment investigations. Cryopreserved at low passage (<P20) to ensure stable reporter expression and genetic integrity. The cells are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast and Bacteria.

The RPMI-8226/GFP-Luciferase Stable Cell Line is a dual-reporter human multiple myeloma model, stably expressing GFP and Luciferase for multimodal tracking. This cell line enables real-time fluorescence imaging of cellular dynamics and high-sensitivity bioluminescence detection of tumor progression, ideal for xenograft studies, drug screening, and metastatic research. The combined reporters allow cross-validation in both in vitro and in vivo applications. Maintain in standard RPMI-1640 medium with appropriate selection agents to ensure stable reporter expression throughout experiments.
