The Xpress™ human CD138 overexpression cell line (293T) provides a powerful tool for studying plasma cell biology and multiple myeloma disease.
Xpress™ Human CD138 over-expressing cell line (293T) is a genetically engineered model derived from selected 293T parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. Human CD138 (SDC1) overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human CD138 gene into 293T host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors.
Target
CD138 (syndecan-1) is a transmembrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan that mediates cell–cell adhesion, tumor invasion, and growth factor signaling. It is highly expressed on plasma cells and multiple myeloma cells, serving as a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target. AcceGen offers generation of stable surface marker overexpression cell lines to support cancer and immunology studies. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
