The Xpress™ EP4 HEK293 cell line offers a robust model for studying PGE2 signaling and GPCR pathways. Ideal for cancer research and drug screening.
Xpress™ Human EP4 over-expressing cell line (HEK293) is a genetically engineered model derived from selected human embryonic kidney HEK293 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. EP4 HEK293 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human EP4 (PTGER4) into HEK293 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The EP4 receptor, encoded by PTGER4, is a G-protein-coupled receptor for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), involved in inflammation, angiogenesis, and tumor progression. EP4 overexpression is linked to immunosuppression and metastasis in breast and colorectal cancers. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
