The MMP7 HEK293 overexpression cell line is a genetically engineered model suitable for studying tumor invasion mechanisms and screening MMP inhibitors.
MMP7 HEK293 Overexpression Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected human embryonic kidney (HEK293) parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. MMP7 HEK293 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human MMP7 into HEK293 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The MMP7 gene encodes matrix metalloproteinase-7, which plays a role in extracellular matrix degradation, epithelial repair, and tumor invasion. Overexpression of MMP7 is correlated with poor prognosis in colorectal, pancreatic, and gastric cancers. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
