The Xpress™ Human PVR over-expressing MC38 cells offer a powerful tool to investigate PVR-related immuno-oncology and cell adhesion pathways.
Xpress™ Human PVR Overexpression Cell Line (MC38) is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine colon adenocarcinoma MC38 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. PVR MC38 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human PVR (CD155) into MC38 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The PVR gene encodes a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the nectin-like family that modulates immune cell adhesion, migration, and immune checkpoint signaling through its interactions with DNAM-1 (CD226), TIGIT, and CD96. PVR plays a pivotal role in tumor immune evasion by impairing T and NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Its overexpression has been associated with progression and poor prognosis in various cancers, including colorectal and lung cancer. The target protein localizes to the plasma membrane and is a critical ligand in the TIGIT/CD155 immune axis. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.

The PVR MC38 Overexpression Cell Line serves as a powerful tool to investigate tumor immune escape and checkpoint blockade resistance mechanisms. This model enables in-depth studies of the TIGIT-CD155 signaling pathway, particularly in syngeneic mouse systems. It is utilized for high-throughput screening of PVR-targeted therapeutics, functional evaluation of NK and T cell responses, and development of immunotherapies such as anti-TIGIT monoclonal antibodies or PVR-specific CAR-T cells.
