4T1/RFP Luciferase HSV1-tk Stable Cell Line is a triple-reporter system engineered from the highly metastatic murine 4T1 mammary carcinoma line, stably co-expressing red fluorescent protein (RFP), Luciferase, and truncated herpes simplex virus type 1 thymidine kinase (HSV1-tk). This unique combination enables multimodal tracking through fluorescence imaging (RFP), bioluminescence detection (Luc), and PET imaging. The cells retain parental 4T1 characteristics including epithelial morphology and aggressive metastatic potential while providing three independent quantitative readouts for tumor progression studies, drug screening, and therapeutic monitoring. Maintained at low passages (<P20) to ensure reporter stability, this cell line is particularly valuable for longitudinal cancer research requiring cross-validation between imaging modalities.
