AceSeq™ RNase R is a magnesium ion-dependent 3’ end to 5’ end exonuclease, which can digest all linear RNAs, but is not easy to digest circular RNAs, lasso structures or double-stranded RNA molecule with an overhang of less than 7 nucleotides at the 3’ end. RNase R is commonly used in gene expression and alternative splicing studies to digest linear RNA to enrich for circular or lasso-structured RNA. AceSeq™ RNase R that is free of hazardous chemicals has high efficiency.
