C57BL/6 Mouse Peritoneal Macrophages-Thioglycollate-elicited

Description

Mouse Peritoneal Macrophages – Thioglycollate-elicited are isolated from the peritoneal cavity of pathogen-free adult mice following thioglycollate stimulation. Each vial contains at least 8 × 10^6 cells and is supplied frozen. Upon thawing, the cells can be plated in multiwell culture dishes and expanded under the conditions recommended by AcceGen. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain cell quality. These macrophages are validated for marker expression, including CD11b assessed by flow cytometry. They are suitable for standard biochemical and molecular biology applications such as RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence staining, flow cytometry, and for generating cell derivatives for a variety of research purposes. The cells are confirmed negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma. MPMAC are negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma.
