HighQC™ Cord Blood Mononuclear Cells provide essential immune cell models, enabling hematology, immunology, and regenerative medicine applications.
HighQC™ Cord Blood Mononuclear Cells (CBMCs) are heterogeneous mononuclear cells isolated from the umbilical cord blood of healthy human donors. This population primarily includes lymphocytes, monocytes, and hematopoietic progenitor cells. Morphologically, these cells display typical round to oval nuclei with a high nuclear-to-cytoplasmic ratio characteristic of mononuclear cells. CBMCs express hematopoietic surface markers such as CD45. Functionally, CBMCs retain diverse immunological and hematopoietic activities, including lymphocyte-mediated immune responses, monocyte phagocytosis, and hematopoietic progenitor differentiation. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HighQC™ Cord Blood Mononuclear Cells (CBMCs) provide a versatile in vitro platform for studying human immune cell biology, hematopoiesis, and cell-cell interactions. CBMCs also support studies on hematopoietic progenitor differentiation, lineage commitment, and transcriptional regulation, as well as functional assays such as proliferation, cytotoxicity, and phagocytosis in a controlled experimental setting. Their heterogeneous composition and multipotent progenitor content make CBMCs a valuable tool for mechanistic research, gene function analysis, and in vitro modeling of human immune and hematopoietic systems.
