Human Adult Atrial Cardiac Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Adult Atrial Cardiac Stem Cells are isolated from the atrium of adult human hearts. These cells display a typical fibroblastoid morphology, appearing as elongated, spindle-shaped cells in monolayer culture. These human atrial cardiac stem cells exhibit limited proliferative capacity in vitro while maintaining genomic stability during early passages. Additionally, they express c-kit, Sca-1, and MDR1. They demonstrate multipotent differentiation capacity, with the ability to give rise to cardiomyocytes, smooth muscle cells, and endothelial cells under specific induction protocols. This functional plasticity makes them valuable for cardiovascular disease modeling, regenerative medicine, and cell-based therapies. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Adult Atrial Cardiac Stem Cells serve as a valuable tool for modeling cardiovascular diseases and studying cardiac pathophysiology in vitro. These cells demonstrate potential for drug screening and mechanistic investigations due to their cardiac lineage specificity. In the field of regenerative medicine, they exhibit the capacity to differentiate into functional cardiomyocytes, offering promise for repairing damaged myocardial tissue in preclinical studies.
