Human Adult Cardiac Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Adult Cardiac Stem Cells (CSCs) are a population of adult cardiac stem cells isolated from human heart tissue. Morphologically, these primary human adult cardiac stem cells typically exhibit a spindle-shaped, fibroblast-like appearance. They express key stemness-associated markers such as c-Kit, Sca-1, and MDR1, as well as cardiac-related proteins including troponin. These cells exhibit limited self-renewal capacity in vitro and show lineage-restricted differentiation tendencies under defined culture conditions. These cells can acquire cardiomyocyte-like or vascular-associated phenotypes when exposed to appropriate induction cues. Currently, these cells are predominantly utilized in basic and translational research, including studies on cardiac development, ischemic injury repair mechanisms, and heart failure pathogenesis. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Adult Cardiac Stem Cells are human heart stem cells research grade primarily used in research focused on cardiac regeneration, vascular biology, and heart disease modeling. They serve as an in vitro model for studying cardiovascular lineage specification and tissue repair mechanisms. These cells can also be used to explore the molecular pathways involved in myocardial injury, fibrosis, and ischemic heart disease, offering insights into potential therapeutic targets.
