Human Colon Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Colon Stem Cells are adult stem cells isolated from healthy human colon tissue and cultured under defined, serum-free conditions to maintain their self-renewal and multipotency. These cells exhibit a crypt-like, epithelial morphology and express key stem cell markers including Oct 4, ESA, SSEA 3/4, telomerase, Ki67, Cdx2, HNF-1, confirmed by RT-qPCR and flow cytometry. They retain the ability to generate all major epithelial lineages of the colon, such as absorptive enterocytes, goblet cells, and enteroendocrine cells. These cells model the in vivo behavior of intestinal crypt stem cells and reflect normal epithelial turnover and regeneration. Under 3D culture, they form colonic organoids that recapitulate in vivo architecture and functionality. Their stable proliferation and differentiation potential make them ideal for modeling gut homeostasis, epithelial repair, and disease onset. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Colon Stem Cells are ideal for investigating intestinal stem cell biology, epithelial differentiation, and mucosal regeneration. They serve as advanced in vitro models for colorectal disease studies, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer, and infection by enteric pathogens. These cells, as intestinal stem cells (ISCs) human and human colonic crypt stem cells, are also valuable in screening drug toxicity and absorption, identifying biomarkers for gut diseases, and evaluating responses to biologics and small-molecule therapies. Their use in personalized medicine and tissue engineering is expanding due to their reproducible differentiation and organoid-forming ability.
