HighQC™ Human Cord Blood-CD34+ Hematopoietic Stem Cells are ideal for studies in stem cell transplantation, immune reconstitution, and gene editing. Their primitive phenotype makes them suitable for modeling hematopoietic disorders and screening hematopoietic-targeted therapies. Their cord blood origin ensures a higher proliferative potential compared to adult-derived counterparts, enhancing their utility in long-term culture and expansion studies.

These cells can typically be expanded up to passage 8 (P8) or beyond without major loss of phenotype for general expansion purposes. For applications requiring perfusable vessel formation, customer feedback indicates optimal performance up to passage 6 (P6). Beyond this passage, vessel integrity and functional performance may decline. The optimal passage range may vary depending on the specific model system, substrate, and maintenance medium used.
Yes. All cell lots are donor-specific, which may result in variability in doubling time, viability, and perfusion potential. Culture outcomes can also be influenced by user-specific conditions. For applications with stringent performance requirements, customers often evaluate multiple donors to identify the most suitable lot.
Currently, CD133 expression has not been characterized for this product. Flow cytometry data are available for the following markers: CD31, CD34, CD105, MHC I/HLA-ABC, acetylated low-density lipoprotein (Alexa Fluor 488) uptake, and von Willebrand Factor (Alexa Fluor 488). Expansion of the characterization panel to include CD133 is under evaluation for future donor lots.
