HighQC™ Human Cord Blood CD34+ Stem Cell (Mixed Donor)

Description

HighQC™ Human Cord Blood CD34+ Stem Cells (Mixed Donor) are isolated from pooled healthy donors using positive immunomagnetic selection. CD34 is a glycosylated transmembrane protein and a well-known marker of primitive hematopoietic and endothelial progenitor cells. CD34+ cell fraction contains multipotent hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells capable of giving rise to all blood lineages. Despite representing a small fraction of the total cell population, CD34+ cells can give rise to all lymphohematopoietic lineages. They are suitable for population-based studies, pharmacogenomics screening, and applications requiring stem cell sources with genetic diversity. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
