Morphologically, they exhibit typical characteristics, including compact colonies with well-defined edges, high nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratios, and prominent nucleoli. They grow adherently on defined extracellular matrix substrates, displaying robust proliferation while maintaining an undifferentiated state under optimized culture conditions. They express key pluripotency markers, including OCT4 and SSEA-4. These cells can differentiate into any cell type and have an unlimited capacity for self-renewal. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.
