Description

HighQC™ Human iPSC-Derived Cortical GABAergic Neurons (Normal) are fully differentiated, high-purity inhibitory neurons generated from healthy donor-derived iPSCs. These neurons display classic neuronal morphology, express GABAergic markers such as GAD67 and vGAT, and form functional inhibitory synapses. In vitro, they release measurable levels of GABA after 7 days of maturation and exhibit spontaneous activity when co-cultured with astrocytes, as detected by multi-electrode array (MEA) recording. With >95% purity, these cells provide a robust and reproducible platform for modeling inhibitory circuitry, studying neurological disorders involving GABA signaling, and screening drugs targeting GABAergic neurotransmission. The cells are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast and Bacteria.
