Description

HighQC™ Human IPSC-Derived Neural Stem Cells-Alzheimer's Disease Patient (PSEN1 A246E) are a valuable model derived from patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells for investigating the molecular basis of autosomal dominant Alzheimer's disease. These neural stem cells express typical cortical neural stem and progenitor cell markers, such as PAX6, FOXG1, and Nestin. The A246E mutation in PSEN1 is associated with altered APP processing and increased amyloid-beta 42 production. These PSEN1 A246E iPSC-derived NSCs allow researchers to study the pathogenic cascade of tau and amyloid aggregation and to test mutation-specific therapeutic compounds in vitro. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
