Description

HighQC™ Human IPSC-Derived Neural Stem Cells-Epilepsy Patient are generated by reprogramming patient somatic cells followed by neural lineage differentiation. These cells express typical cortical neural stem and progenitor cell markers (PAX6, FOXG1, Nestin), and can differentiate into neurons and glial cells, maintaining proliferation capacity under specific culture conditions. Human epileptic neural stem cells provide a powerful in vitro platform for investigating excitatory/inhibitory imbalance, network hyperexcitability, and ion channel dysfunction. These cells support pharmacological testing and mechanistic studies related to inherited or primary epilepsy. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
